A Dream, The End, and a Reminder

Back in middle school, I once had a dream about the end of the world. I saw it from above—disasters unfolding everywhere, fire and floods consuming the earth.

Lately, there’s been a buzz in Japan about a manga artist who claimed to have seen visions of the future in his dreams. Watching some of the videos on TikTok brought back memories of my own dream. It felt eerily similar. In it, the world was ending—but not completely gone. It was more like everything hit a reset button and started over.

Maybe that’s what happens when selfishness and evil grow too strong—something bigger steps in to wipe the slate clean.

I’m just grateful for every peaceful, quiet day I get to live.
I try to be kind to those around me. I stay away from people who carry bad intentions.

We really don’t know what’s coming next in this world.
That’s why we need to make the most of our time—treasure it, and treasure the people we love.
